Sylvania Heights offers terrific facilities which contribute to a vibrant learning environment. The school is set on spacious grounds, allowing students to access large, grassy playing areas. Two large sheltered areas and covered walkways, linking many of the school buildings, provide shade and protection from rain. Classrooms are well resourced and teaching and learning is enhanced through the use of technology including interactive whiteboards. The school hall is used for weekly assemblies, performing arts assemblies, dance, band, and various other school activities. The school library provides students with access to a great range of fiction and non fiction books. Students are permitted to borrow at weekly library lessons or more frequently if they visit the library before school on Monday or Friday.Canteen facilities are available 5 days a week with students able to order a range of healthy lunches as well as make over the counter purchases at lunch time.To assist working parents Before and After School Care is available onsite, in the 'blue house'.
