Over the last few years the school has established a string ensemble group. This group has performed at both the Festival of Instrumental Music at the Opera House and at various Performing Arts concerts. As the group progresses further performances within the community are envisioned.

The school offers opportunities for students from as young as Year Two to learn a stringed instrument.

Students are offered weekly professional tutorials in their chosen instrument as well as weekly ensemble practise.

It is like another language that helps you to learn so much. The violin sounds so nice. It is fun to make music.  Pamela, Year Four
