Your P&C Association is made up of a mix of parents, citizens and our Principal. Our aims are to assist in the provision of support mechanisms that enhance the safety education and welfare of the overall school community.
Our P&C consists of five active volunteer committees and our Principal, who combine to raise funds, provide services and recommend the direction of expenditures from funds raised.
Each committee is democratically elected. P&C meetings are held at 7.30pm in the library on the last Wednesday of each month.
P&C
This is the umbrella committee which coordinates the activities of our other committees. It is the forum for debate, input, suggestion and final approval for any expenditure from monies raised.
K-6 Club
This is the principal fundraising unit of the P&C. It formulates, plans and carries out social events and other fund raising programs and encourages parents to participate in these endeavours.
Uniforms
This committee provides the facility for parents to purchase both new and second hand uniforms. They provide a service to the school community and trading profits generated. like our other committees, benefit the overall school community.
Canteen
Our canteen operates every school day providing healthy food options for the kids. We employ a Canteen Manager whose efforts are supported by volunteer mums and dads. Our canteen does not conduct fund raising drives, however trading profits generated serve the total school community.
Performing Arts
The opportunities for our kids are comprehensive - band, dance, choir and other arts. Our school is amongst the top performers in the metropolitan area. They are guided, tutored and supported by volunteer parents and teachers.
Our Principal
Mr Burke is an active member of the P&C. We are fortunate to have an enthusiastic Principal willing to attend our monthly meetings. Mr Burke reports on school issues, progress, answers concerns and provides a priority list for expenditure of the funds generated by the various P&C committees.
